This digitally enhanced photograph won the Best Pictures of the Month honors in the
Artistic Nudes category for May 2002 at the Japan-based
Photography Unlimited.
Beginning June 1, 2002, the picture will be displayed in the Winners gallery of
the Photography Unlimited online digital photography website. The display time is one
year, ending May 2003.
Technical Information: The image was originally created on color negative film using a professional
Minolta camera and lens in a studio setting. The light source was a single studio light using an
umbrella to mimic a beauty dish with a white reflector board opposite the light source. The background
was a hand-painted cloth. The resulting Fujicolor film was scanned and digitally enhanced for this
