"Charlotte first approached me with the idea of using the Venus of Willendorf sculpture as inspiration for an artwork in 1998," Allio said. "It took nearly four years after the creation of the original color film image for me to develop the necessary skills to create this digital artwork. It has become one of my most controversial artworks, ever."

This artistic figure nude of amateur model Charlotte Babb was created on color negative film. The image was then scanned and digitally enhanced.

"The most famous early image of a human, a woman, is the so-called Venus of Willendorf, found in 1908 by the archaeologist Josef Szombathy in an Aurignacian loess deposit near the town of Willendorf in Austria and now in the Naturhistorisches Museum, Vienna."
