High Roller Opens in Las Vegas | ©2014 David Allio

At 550 feet, the High Roller opened to the public today in Las Vegas as the World’s Tallest Ferris Wheel. Located near Flamingo Road and Las Vegas Boulevard, construction on the High Roller required over two years for completion. A ride in one of the 28 forty-passenger pods takes about 30 minutes. At night, the circular structure is illuminated by an ever-changing chromatic light show.

This visual artwork was created by panning the lights of the wheel against the backdrop of hotels on the Fabulous Las Vegas Strip.
