"British BodyTour" Exhibition Draws Nearly 10,000 in First Showing

LAS VEGAS - The "British BodyTour" pictorial exhibition went on display for the first time in September 2008. Within the four months of initial display nearly 10,000 art afficionados viewed the gallery collection featuring nude figure model Jenny Devine from Birmingham, England.

"That's such great news about my pics," smiled Brummie model Jenny Devine. "I'm quite happy."

The "British BodyTour" pictorial features eleven intimate sepiatone images. Each picture was created in a Las Vegas studio setting using professional digital cameras and a combination of direct and reflected natural light.

"It was absolutely fabulous working with Jenny in the creation of this pictorial," Allio said. "She was great as an artistic partner during the creative collaboration. Based on this and previous experience, it seems that European models seem to have a greater cognoscence of historic art and the creative process, especially when it comes to artistic nudity and the beautiful nude human figure. They treat art as a refined and treasured gift rather than a common commodity."

David Allio was born in the Commonwealth of Virginia, USA. He is a graduate of the University of Virginia with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Communications and Visual Arts. His fine artworks of nude subjects have been exhibited worldwide.
