A Striped Burfish or spiny Boxfish Chilomycterus schoepfi found in Apalachicola Bay on the Gulf of Mexico during research by Lincoln Memorial University (LMU) scientists at the Florida State University Coastal and Marine Laboratory (FSUCML) in St. Teresa, Florida.

This distinctive and intriguing outcrop of weathered white sandstone in the Mojave Desert has been the subject of exposure through a variety of my Nikon and Canon professional digital cameras and lenses. The resulting images have been the topic of several digital photography composition lectures. Now this southern Nevada rock formation it has been exposed through my iPhone, as well.
