Autumn Breeze Upstate South Carolina

Autumn Breeze – Upstate SC

Historically, photography has been a visual tool of implied authenticity in the documentary representation of an artifact or scene. The evolutionary path of my visual art, based in the technical tools of traditional photography and digital imaging, involves developing and simplifying processes for expressing representation beyond artifacts to the production of visual artworks expressing ideas.

Autumn Breeze began as an idea for expressing wind-blown autumnal leaves. In the past, I have searched for perfect leaves touched by the change in season. Now, as an evolving artist, I represent the idea of a greater scene.

Running Waters – Kaua’i Hawai’i

Running Waters is a sandy beach in Nawiliwili Bay favored by locals for bodysurfing and shortboard water sports. Nawiliwili Lighthouse sits in the background on Nawiliwili Point.

The Nikon D40x was one of my favorite cameras for landscape photography. It was lightweight, durable, and produced digital images with size and resolution suitable for publication.
