Streaks and Stars shone brightly in 2005 on the facade of the 50 year-old Riviera Hotel and Casino. The Las Vegas Boulevard landmark completed a 60 year run on The Strip in Las Vegas, Nevada, as it closed in May of 2015.

Mabry Mill near Meadows of Dan, Virginia, is promoted as the most photographed site on the Blue Ridge Parkway. According to information at the site, the grist mill was built in the early 1900s by Edwin Mabry. The landmark between Milepost 176 and 177 in Floyd County was restored by the National Park Service after acquiring the property two years following the miller’s death.
