This is the second in a series of fourteen still life photographs presenting Highlights and Shadows<\/em> on a textured hallway wall. What do you think you see?<\/p>\n

"Our physical eyes tell us what we see; our thoughts tell us what we think we see – and these can be opposing forces in the creative process. However, while our physical eyes give us accurate and detailed information, our inner eyes – or the eyes of the imagination – embellish the information given by the physical eyes. The symbiotic duet of sighting results in visual and imaginative expression…and has nothing to do with the thought process alone."[1]<\/p>\n
