At 550 feet, the High Roller<\/em> opened to the public today in Las Vegas as the World\u2019s Tallest Ferris Wheel. Located near Flamingo Road and Las Vegas Boulevard, construction on the High Roller<\/em> required over two years for completion. A ride in one of the 28 forty-passenger pods takes about 30 minutes. At night, the circular structure is illuminated by an ever-changing chromatic light show.<\/p>\n

This visual artwork was created by panning the lights of the wheel against the backdrop of hotels on the Fabulous Las Vegas Strip.<\/p>\n
