Jack in the pulpit or Indian turnip Arisaema triphyllum<\/i> is a perennial herb of the Araceae family. It typically blooms in March, April, and July in rich woods and bogs throughout most of Eastern North America. According to the USDA web site, Arisaema triphyllum<\/i> is not currently considered threatened, vulnerable, or endangered.<\/p>\n
