One year ago today, my first post opened this Experience Photography blog. Skeptical, I was not sure of the value of a blog. My nebulous goal was to post at least once each week about my little corner of the photography world. As it happens, this is my 88th post of personal and assignment photography from Hawaii to Maine.

Looking ahead to next year, there will be new personal and assignment photographs for your consideration. Fair warning, it is also reasonable to expect more posts relating to my MFA in Visual Arts studies at Vermont College of Fine Arts. The stack of books in the accompanying illustration represents about 25-percent of the entire Recommended Readings for All Students at VCFA. Four books completed, seven more started, and a great amount of learning to do.

My 2013 lecture and workshop schedule is shaping up to be busier than ever. Some of those lecture topics may begin to appear in this photography blog, as well.

This, my official photography blog, has become a significant part of my web site. It is the source for the posts syndicated to Facebook, LinkedIn, Tumblr, and Yahoo! An abbreviated version of selected entries is on Pinterest. Titles and links are shown on Twitter. And now, the same posts appear in my start-up online social media digest or mashup entitled Experience Photography Daily. There is even an option for a free e-mail subscription.

Experience Photography is intended to be about current photography topics. For those of you looking for my older motorsports photographs, those may be found on a separate blog: Racing Photo Archives. It also has corresponding presence on Facebook, LinkedIn, Tumblr, Pinterest, and Twitter.

Thank you for reading. Thank you for viewing. Thank you for the encouragement. I hope you will continue to find something interesting or enlightening in these blog posts. Feedback is easy through the Comments form on my web site. Now, I ask that you share a link with others as we continue to Experience Photography.
